Who better exemplifies New York Fashion week  than Michael Kors !
Voila the highlights of his fabulous Fall 2016 show and Kors best quips,
from Vogue

On women’s desires: “Ultimately, rich and pretty is what women want.”

On his ’70s personal style: “I wore tight white silk shirts that laced up the front and platform shoes. And I actually lay down on the floor to get into a pair of French jeans.”

On his biggest snafu: “Bodysuits for men.”

On fashion folk: “Fashion is about reinvention, so fashion people are also full of self-reinvention. They’re like, ‘Oh, I’m not that person anymore! I am royalty from Albania, and my mother wore couture!’ ”

On keeping it real: “With simplicity, you can’t fake it.”

On the finishing touches:“An accessory cuts through all the barriers. No weather, no season, no age.”

On wearability: “I think fantasy works for someone going to the Met Ball. I don’t want to be the clothes you admire, I want to be the ones that you wear.”

On how to save the planet: “The greenest thing you could do in fashion is to buy something great that you’re going to use for years.”

On dreaming big: “I truly believe that my legacy will be that you can have it all. You can be glamorous and sexy and feel comfortable in your own skin.”

On his design mantra: “Something sharp, authoritative, but different.”
