First spied last year on the runways of Balenciaga the chic de la chic cape top is the item du jour for summer.
Grab a cheeky cape sweater while it’s still chilly and then toss on a sleeveless style later in summer.
You want it in simple white or chic black.
What’s to love? It’s elegant and electic.
And in summer you can get arm coverage without looking boring.
Wear it hanging out over skinny jeans or tuck into a leather skirt or high waist pants.
The only issue?
You can’t wear it under a jacket. It’s too tricky.
I should know because I bought the Country Road black version last summer and I loved it.
Just toss a jacket over your shoulders if you get chilly.
