The Peacoat: This is from next winter,  aready instore right now at Max and Co. It’s a wardrobe must have. Gold buttons are cool. Toss over a stripe tee with your fav ripped jeans as we speak. Or with a flirty leather skirt. I have Max and Co peacoat that is 6 years old. Still wearing it.#mustbuy

The long pleat skirt: The longer length is THE trend that’s new. And exciting. Right? You’ll get used to it. Love this grey long pleated pleather ( yes, pleather !) skirt from Zara.  It’s instore now. I tried it on. Trust me. You want it. I see this with a fabulous long Saba grey knit and lace up oxfords. ( see how Zara styled it in a similar way above). For summer toss on a white boxy tee. Done. Deal. Dude.

The white shirt dress: Love this French Connection white shirt dress. A totes must have for summer. It has cute pcokets. #love. It’s actually quite good on covering the muffin knees.  Wear it right now under the peacoat with the tails hainging out over the snazzy grey Frame denim jeans. Wear into summer with strappy stud flats. And brown legs.

The cargo Khaki skirt: Khaki is coming. Note to self ? Invest now. Love it because it’s almost a non colour. You know, so it’s very happy to hang out with black, grey, white and camel. Love the Bassike skirt with the Celine style belt and paperbag waist. You might need that paper bag to breathe into if you don’t like a high waist. And Birkenstocks.

The peeptoe shootie: it’s the heel to look for. Love these Sexy Thing suede sandals from MatchesFashion. You will be when you wear them. #Khaki again.

The Crop trench: It’s the perfect transeasonal piece from Sportscraft. Always go for a double breasted trench. Why? Because when you wear it undone it will sit properly across the muffin situation and give good silhouette. Love this over your stripe tee and with a leather pencil skirt. Or try with slouchy peg leg pants like these silky numbers from Country Road. Grey is good but black is an essential basic for summer.

The ankle-strap sandal: You need a lighter colour shoe for summer. Infact maybe get two shoes. Makes walking easier. Go for tan or brown heels. Go for a single strap across the toe. Go for a run with a small heel. You won’t feel a thang. #nopanadeineforyou.

The sleeveless vest: I’ve been banging on about a sleeveless vest for a couple years as it’s been lurking on the fashion horizon. Now it’s made a landing. Big time. How cute is this Seed Heritage number with a sheer back panel? Very. Adorable in white too. What’s to love about a sleeveless vest? It’s gives you the tailoring of a blazer and a lovely shape if you don’t have one. And you won’t die of heat exhaustion.

Grey jeans: A must buy in any wardrobe. For any shape. For any age. Why? Because grey jeans means you can toss back with black heels and a black jacket =No head to toe boring black. I should know. Invest in Frame denim : it’s the new cool denim brand in David Jones and the cut is totes de la totes.

The Statement shoe. Valentino rock stud heels just keep going. Updated every season they are almost a classic. First seen 3 years ago they are still something to dream about. Grey is good. So is a kitten heel. Purring.
